General
Our players are typically new to virtual reality, so you can play with us without any VR experience. In this case, we recommend that you consider the difficulty level of the game you're playing when choosing your experience, which is also indicated in the descriptions of our featured VR Games , but you can also ask our game masters in the room for advice on this.
Our services are available to children over 8 years of age, and to children under 12 years of age only if accompanied by an adult. Our most popular VR games are all labelled with the PEGI (Pan European Games Information) label, which provides information on the age rating used for electronic games. The label can be 3, 7, 12, 16 or 18. These indicate the minimum age for which the game is considered safe content. It is important to note that PEGI ratings are age ratings and do not take into account the level of difficulty or skill required to play the game. It depends on the game how much physical activity the experience requires from the players. Some of our games are very comfortable and you can play them standing still, while others may require continuous, more intense movement. For our flagship VR Games , we have included a comfort indicator in our descriptions to give you an indication of the activity level for that game.
No worries, standard frames fit under the headsets. In fact, if you wear glasses every day, we strongly recommend that you wear your glasses while gaming, as the virtual world typically requires you to focus at a distance.
Virtual reality can disrupt the sensory system and lead to inconvenient symptoms in certain cases, so for safety reasons, we do not recommend playing games after the 3rd month of pregnancy.
VR Games
We currently have 5 game stations in the room, where 5 players can play simultaneously in single or multiplayer mode. Under Book Now menu you can find out the number of available stations at any given time.
We now offer more than 30 different VR Games to choose from. You can find a list of our flagship games with a short description here, but you can also ask our game masters in the room for help and they will be happy to recommend a selection of experiences based on your needs.
Yes, we allow multiple players to participate in selected games at the same time. Check out the Games menu under the multiplayer category and choose from our multiplayer tickets even on discounted prices! We also recommend this experience for groups, as it's an exceptional activity, whether it's a simple get-together with friends or family, or a festive occasion.

Yes, you can play two VR games in 60 minutes and three in 120 minutes. If you're really passionate, you can buy a 10-visit pass at a discounted price to try out a good selection of our games.
How to prepare
You don't need to choose your game in advance, but you can only use our playground after booking an appointment. When booking, you should also note that our Adventure and Simulator games are only available with an All in one ticket. Therefore, if you wish to play these games or just prefer to choose a game in the room, we recommend that you purchase an All in One ticket.
If you have any questions about the game or would like to ask our game masters for advice, we recommend that you arrive in the room about 15-20 minutes before your booked time slot to allow you to prepare for the experience and spend the entire booked time slot in virtual reality. Even if you are not a first-time visitor, you should allow about 5-10 minutes for preparation.
We are located in the centre of Budapest, a few minutes walk from Deák Ferenc Square. The entrance is located in the inner courtyard of the building at 20-22 Asbóth street. Entering through the iron gate, turn left, press doorbell 1 and come down to our hall.
If you arrive by car, you can park in Asbóth Street or in the nearby Erzsébet Parking Garage . The underground car park is located on Erzsébet Square, about 5 minutes walking distance from the VR arcade.
Booking and tickets
Yes, our games are only available with prior reservation. Book an appointment on our website, and make sure you can play the game you want, when you want, by selecting the ticket type.
When booking an appointment online or purchasing a gift voucher, you can pay securely on our website with your credit card via Stripe, or you can choose to pay on the spot when you book. At the moment, you can only pay by credit card in our halls, and you can also redeem your gift voucher and 10-visit pass tickets here.
You can cancel 24 hours before the booked appointment free of charge. After this time, we are unfortunately unable to refund your booking fee. Please notify us of your cancellation by e-mail to info@linarvr.hu .
You can buy gift vouchers online on our website or in person at our hall, but you can only redeem them in person before the game starts. Please also make an appointment online in advance if you wish to pay with a gift card and select the "Gift voucher" option for payment methods. You can use the voucher for any of our VR gaming experiences within 90 days of purchase, for 60 or 120 minutes of play time depending on the type of voucher.
You can buy 10-visit passes online or in our arcade for yourself or as a gift for someone else. You can redeem your pass in person at our playground and use it for any of our gaming experiences for 90 0 days. The redemption of a pass is also subject to prior online booking, so please indicate if you wish to use it with 10-visit passes by selecting "Pay with 10-visit passes" in the payment methods when booking.
If you have a coupon that entitles you to a discount, you can redeem it during the online booking process, no personal redemption is possible. All you need to do to claim the discount is enter the coupon code in the "Discount Coupon" field during the booking process and the value will be automatically deducted from the current booking fees.
Some of our VR games can be played by up to 5 people, so these experiences can be a great way to liven up company events, team-building sessions, birthday parties or even stag or hen parties. We can also arrange for events to be hosted, just ask for our personalized offer.
